FactorIn is a social networking and social media app for people with hemophilia. Hemophilia is a rare condition, so having it can feel isolating, and meeting someone else with it can be difficult. The purpose of the app is to allow people with hemophilia to be able to connect and come together.
What is Hemophilia?
Hemophilia is a rare sex-linked genetic bleeding disorder that largely affects males. People with hemophilia lack the factor proteins in their blood that allows blood to clot, making them more susceptible to bleeding after injury. Spontaneous bleeds in muscles and joints can also occur.
